Samsung Galaxy S7 - 6 months later

On the back of a highly successful 2015 ,the mobile division of the South Korean conglomerate definitely had a tough task on hand. The Galaxy Note 5 and S6 had garnered a positive critical and public reception even though they made a dramatic shift in design and hardware choices and this strengthened and improved their foothold in developed countries where people prefer premium design/looks over customization . It was clear that Samsung were going after Iphone users and going by the lowered growth in sales of the Iphone, were successful. So,what did they have in store for 2016?

I have used the S7 for the better part of 6 months and have mostly enjoyed the experience.

Samsung have nailed it when it comes to design and the phone feels really comfortable in hand.Premium materials like glass have been used which make it stylish but also slippery. The footprint  is pretty small for  with a display  of 5.1inches and this is due to the small bezels surrounding the screen.

The display with a resloution of 1440*2560 and 577 PPI is absolutely stunning and the best in the market!
The S7's battery is above average and will last a day for more users but the fast charging is not quite as fast OnePlus' dash charging technology.

Samsung has  reintroduced the sdcard slot on popular request which is a bonus and is also water and dust resistant.

Coming to the camera,it's definitely one of the best on a smartphone. The colors are rich, vibrant and photos contain a lot of detail and Samsung have outdone themselves here.

One of my major gripes with the S7 has to be the speaker. It's tiny and can easily be covered with one finger and a downgrade from the S6.
